The Aquaguard Ritz Pro RO+UV+Copper is the latest water purifier from Aquaguard. It has a 9-stage purification system and takes care of most of the water quality issues for the user. Plus the stainless steel body makes it more durable and hygienic.
We saw this in achievement in our testing. It removed 99.9999% of all bacteria across all water sources, had little issue with microplastics and pesticides, and handled heavy metals very well. And the copper infusion was excellent. But it struggled in our high TDS test but purified well overall.
It’s clear the Ritz Pro is a high end RO and that comes with a hefty price tag. But it’s a very advanced purifier with many cutting edge features.

Launched in early 2025, the Aquaguard Ritz Pro RO+UV+Copper comes with the latest features, latest tech and looks the part. The whole design is sleek, modern and high quality, including a surgical grade stainless steel tank and smart monitoring system.
In testing the Ritz Pro performed extremely well, removed 99.9999% of all bacteria across all water types. And very little of the minerals were lost, almost all of the microplastics were removed and a good amount of copper was infused by the system. And the 9-stage purification cleaned the water better and had little issue with chemical contaminants.
Overall monitoring was good for the Ritz Pro. It tracked our ~15L daily consumption in real-time without missing any data. But struggled more in our high TDS tests, couldn’t purify water above 1000 PPM. But performance can be improved with future filter updates.But overall the Ritz Pro is amazing. The titanium filters takes care of long term performance for 2 years and water quality.

You will find a large 7 litre storage tank in this water purifier which is made of food-grade plastic. This provides enough purified water storage capacity with a flow rate of around 1 L/Min. The water purification rate is around 12 to 15 litres per hour. There is also an LED display that indicates the purification process, tank full level and any low-pressure alerts. The dimensions are 450 mm x 345 mm x 205 mm, it easily fits a small kitchen.

The KENT Grand Plus has been designed with functionality and purification in mind but around ₹19,400 it’s a mid-to-high range product that needs to be thought through. With an ABS food grade plastic body, wall mounted design and integrated UV LED storage tank disinfection it looks clean and clinical and will fit into modern kitchens. At 400mm x 230mm x 540mm and 8.4kg it’s as compact as any multi stage purifier can get – I’d install it in smaller kitchen spaces without any bulk. The NSF International certification and ISI marking puts it up there as the most certified water purifier I tested so build quality is good.
Monitoring water levels and TDS settings through the control valve is easy but the 20 litres per hour output is only good for moderate household consumption. Auto cut feature problems started to surface after 6-18 months of usage and I had to call for service frequently to get them sorted which was frustrating given the premium pricing. The 9 litre storage capacity is also modest at just under 10 litres so I had to refill more often during peak usage times but the zero water wastage technology may be worth considering for eco conscious users.
Instead of basic RO filtration it uses a RO+UV+UF+TDS control system like the premium multi stage purifiers above. Each RO membrane cleans about thousands of litres of water over its life which is standard for most filters and are priced at around ₹3,200 each – I had to replace twice in 1.5 years of usage. I tried the complete Mineral RO™ system which removed contaminants up to 750 TDS levels, retained natural minerals, and had in-tank UV disinfection against bacteria and viruses. The reason I selected this water purifier is its ability to handle TDS levels up to 2000 PPM, requiring no water pressure. With its 10-stage purification system including RO, UV, UF and Taste Adjuster, it reduces the TDS level between 80 PPM to 150 PPM. I have found it brought down the hardness from 478 mg/L to just 30 mg/L. In another test, the TDS levels were brought down from 1286 PPM to under 100 PPM. Plus, this water purifier only wastes around 400 ml to purify 1000 ml, with Free AMC around ₹2500.
My tap water pressure was 20-30 PSI, but I found this water purifier functioned smoothly even at zero water pressure, a common issue in many areas where the water tank is 2.5 feet or less. You can see it has a large 8 litre storage tank so you never run out of fresh purified water, on full tank you will be able to produce fill 32 glass of water that contains 250 ml that too full tank filling speed 24 L/Hr.
I have found a little disappointment with water wastage, up to 55%, wastes around 550 ml of water to purify 1 Litre. The entire body and tank are made from 100% food-grade plastic, at this price around ₹20,000, we can expect stainless steel tank or in-tank UV sterilization but it lacks. Aqua Active isn’t the most advanced water purifier but it’s not far off. It removed 99.99% of all contaminants across all water sources, slightly better with municipal water than borewell. But it managed high TDS and heavy metals without any issue. Plus the purifier storage tank and total filtration system is completely sealed.
Though installation is slightly complex the asking price of Aqua Active makes it a good deal. It’s a powerful purifier with great filtration and useful features to improve water quality. Those two factors combined with the price makes it a thumbs up.
